Despite a very dry summer, the elderberry ensured its recovery! With a few flowers. Of course, I watered...

I order a Black Tower elderberry and receive a Black Lace elderberry instead. Promesse De Fleurs sends me another plant, apologizing, which I receive just 72 hours after the first one. No luck: "Black Tower" on the delivery note but "Black Lace" on the plant label. Granted, they are both beautiful young plants, but the columnar shape of the Black Tower and the sprawling nature of the Black Lace create a different landscape effect. Out of around 100 plants purchased since last year, only 2 plants did not survive: a Black Tower elderberry and a Lonicera kamtschatica Sweet Myberry... No luck. The rating for this item is therefore not great, but this website offers a diverse and unique selection of plants. The shipments are carefully prepared and the delivery is often fast. The plants generally arrive in good condition despite often rough journeys.

Slow recovery but the result is there.....what beauty...I planted it near col and the purple chocolate foliage standing out against the huge green leaves is so chic...

Plant arrived in November, 6 months later, it has beautiful leaves and soon flowers.

Quite scrawny upon reception, lost all its leaves during the summer. Seems to be vegetating currently, will see in the spring... We are far from the lushness of the photo.

This is my 3rd order in 1 month. And while I was completely satisfied with the first 2, this one has disappointed me a lot: indeed, the packaging, very well done in the lower part, was rushed in the upper part. As a result, all the stems were broken in the top 2/3. The young plant will recover from this, but as I paid for a 10 L specimen, I find myself in the lower category. After planting, the young plant lost all its leaves and the larger branches dried up. I pruned them and it grew new leaves, but they seem to be sensitive to the cold and die quickly despite the care and good soil it's in! It's a shame because they are truly beautiful. I am eagerly awaiting spring.

Quality young plant, has recovered well despite the drought this summer, but I have taken good care of it. The glossy, finely cut leaves, their purple colour give a superb effect to the garden.

I am initially very pleased. Now we just have to wait a little to see how the young plant will establish and develop...
