I found this bulb at a fair, so today on 20/01/2017, I believe with your advice, I will save my three bulbs. They have a very beautiful flower that I have never seen in the south of France.

Does the bulb multiply easily like the Peruvian scilla? I would like to have several of them in two or three years. Is that possible? Thank you.

HARDY BULB BEGINS WITH BEAUTIFUL LEAVES THAT WITHER AND IN THE HEART OF THE BULB, ITS LONG STEM FORMS AND ENDS WITH A CLUSTER OF BUDS THAT BLOOM, FLOOR BY FLOOR, FROM THE BOTTOM UP, ABOUT 5 TO 6 CM EACH. WHEN THESE WITHER, THE FLOWERING CONTINUES FLOOR BY FLOOR UNTIL THE END, 1 METER 20CM. CURIOUS BUT HAPPY TO SEE IT AND HAVE IT...

A bit disappointed with this plant, as I discovered its high toxicity after purchasing it (by researching online), so I had to throw it away. I have a young child and this plant is deadly, and was once used as a rodenticide.
I find it a bit unfortunate that the toxicity is mentioned last in the description and quite briefly.
However, no worries for people without children, the bulb was very beautiful. I'm sure it would have produced a lovely flower.
