I put them in a heated greenhouse hoping that they will quickly start their root system. The roots are strong and there is no visible rot. However, I noticed that the main stem is brown and soft, probably because they are rooted cuttings and it should logically regrow from the base. I really hope it will happen this year. I'm doing a second attempt and I hope it will give me three vigorous plants to put in the ground.

Beautiful plant
Beautiful, healthy plant, delivered promptly.

Robust
The plant appears vigorous. Out of curiosity, I scratched the soil. Apparently, there are tubers in it. It's only October. The plant hasn't frozen yet. So I will wait a bit longer before pulling them out. With mulch at its base, the plant hasn't suffered from the summer drought. I will take some more.

An experiment to follow
The plants have arrived in good condition and have been thriving since. Stay tuned for more updates.

Beautiful plant but..
Beautiful, robust plant but once again, the packaging was not great, with some broken leaves, which lowers my rating.
Excellent flavour when boiled or roasted. Very good texture when cooked. Excellent storage. Clearly superior to the ratte potato. It's my grandchildren's favourite.
