Being a novice gardener, on poor soil, a meadow that I open up, very sandy - and only coming on weekends, the best results I've had are with three attempts at growing beans. One harvest every three days from mid-July to mid-August from just one sowing, and then some beans that grew bigger but were still good. I'm starting again this year.

Disappointing
sown in August may not have had enough time to form pods: it is probably necessary to sow earlier and not follow the instructions on the packet!
Response from Promesse de Fleurs: Sowing is done in May when the soil is well warmed up. You can then stagger your sowing until July.
Perhaps this variety is not suitable for my region and the high heat. The harvest was late, in August and September, for beans sown in May. The pods and colour were not reflective of the photo, but they were very good in cooking. I still have some seeds left to try again this summer, with rain expected.

For now, there are no beans to harvest, the flowers are starting to appear.
In a way, this suits me just fine, because for now I have a big production of the Planeta, Cobra, and a purple variety (bau...).

not really a 'mange tout'.
quickly produce grains and parchment
but all my climbing beans failed this year... so?
