Gorgeous flower
The flowers of this bush are very pretty and despite its small size, there are many.

Beautiful flowers in the spring.
Beautiful flowers in the spring but ravaged by snails and slugs in the summer. Will the young plant survive the winter?

Frosty
Very beautiful young plant planted in autumn 2016. It was growing vigorously this spring with three leafy branches and many flower buds. However, the frost in April took its toll. Only one branch is regrowing well. Therefore, it needs to be protected.

Good evening! Passing by the site and this page, I wanted to give you an update on my calycanthus... It is doing very well, despite the frost at the end of April. It has already bloomed beautifully once and is preparing for a new wave of leaves and buds. I would have liked its colour to be even more red, but it is still very beautiful. I planted it in clay-limestone soil, well-drained nonetheless, and it seems to suit it. Perhaps in the future, I may be forced to move it as it will lack space, but until then, we will enjoy it near the terrace.

Lovely foliage
The flowers are magnificent, but the surprise was truly the foliage, which is light, bright green, and slightly translucent in the sunlight. This adds a touch of cheerfulness and elegance.

The young plant appears fragile, it hasn't suffered during the journey. Very pretty red.

Disappointed, I received this young plant with 3 broken branches, one of which was in flower. It is becoming more and more common for plants to arrive with broken branches. You should reconsider your packaging. I hope it will recover well.

Fast delivery, good packaging and receipt conditions, one downside for the young plant.
A bit disappointed with the colour of the flowers of the Calycantus, I thought they would be more vibrant, similar to the ones shown here on this evaluation document; the ones on my young plant are purple and not very bright.

Aurillac (Cantal)" would be translated as "Aurillac (Cantal)" in British English.
Hello! My calycanthus has been magnificent, flowers everywhere, but it got "chilled" in the ears due to the frost we experienced at the end of April. It was protected and didn't suffer too much. It has grown, beautiful shiny leaves have adorned its branches, and big buds that quickly grew larger have bloomed. It has been three weeks since the flowers opened. The only thing that disappoints me a little is that the flower color is closer to "claret" than the burgundy red in the photograph, but oh well. It still enchants my visitors.

Tall and already with buds emerging.
