You're asking for our opinion on the flower when we just received the bulb. The question is stupid! Off-topic remark about the plants: the box was completely torn upon arrival, it was only held together by the numerous tapes of the carrier!

Good-sized bulb

I bought a tubercle out of season to take advantage of a promotion. As I expected, it was dry (thus dead) upon receipt: gloxinia tubercles are fragile and require some precautions to be stored from one year to the next. Considering the price, I didn't ask for a refund. However, I think Promesse de fleurs should refrain from selling certain delicate bulbs and especially from liquidating them "on promotion" when they have exceeded their expiration date.

None of the three shoots of the vine-plant have grown...big disappointment.

Quite run-down, out of the 3 bulbs, one shoot more or less showed its face before expiring in excruciating pain.

Thanks to the people (order preparation and shipping), the 3 bulbs I received seem healthy. Planted near Shellflowers (southeast exposure, PACA region), I am now waiting for them to take root...

5/5 Beautiful South African bulbous plant of pink colour that blooms in the south of France at the end of August or beginning of September. A leafless stem emerges from the soil. Do not confuse it with the South American hippeastrum, which has larger flowers and has been extensively hybridized.
