Passiflora Perfume Passion- Passion Flower

Passion flowers are quite delicate to cultivate as they are susceptible to frost. Take care to mulch them well before the first frosts. In case of severe frost, prune them back to ground level at the beginning of spring. Otherwise, prune them heavily as the flowers appear on new shoots. It won't hold it against you: with rapid growth, it can grow up to 4m (13ft) per year. Apart from its fear of extreme cold, it is hardy and easily adapts to sunny conditions. It prefers a rather poor, well-drained soil.
