Philodendron billietiae x atabapoense, born from the union of two tropical species, is a climbing plant that offers lush foliage. This rather rare, elegant hybrid, fits perfectly into contemporary or "jungle" settings. Place it in a spot bathed in light, but not in direct sunlight, and maintain high ambient humidity. A stake or support is recommended to support its climbing vegetation and showcase its magnificent leaves.

Belonging to the Araceae family, Philodendron billietiae x atabapoense is a hybrid resulting from the cross-breeding between Philodendron billietiae, a species with pointed leaves discovered by Frieda Billiet in 1981 in French Guiana, and P. atabapoense, native to southern Venezuela and the Amazonian regions of Brazil, with narrow, elongated leaves. This perennial climbing plant exhibits rapid growth, typically reaching a height of 1.5 to 2 m in a pot, with a spread of 60 to 90 cm. Its elongated, arrow-shaped leaves can grow up to 60 cm in length and 15 cm in width. They feature a deep green upper surface and a burgundy underside. The petioles may display orange hues, inherited from P. billietiae. Indoor flowering is rare and discreet. Like many Philodendrons, this plant is toxic if ingested.
