Our selection of Polyscias. Discover these exotic indoor bushes, closely related to Aralia, which are also nicknamed "False Aralia". The Polyscias balfouriana is one of the most popular varieties. It charms with its rounded, deep green leaves, sometimes marginate with cream, forming a dense and elegant crown. 'Butterfly' is an original form with undulate and finely cut leaves. Another must-have, the Polyscias fruticosa, also called "Ming False Aralia", boasts a light and airy habit. Even more delicate, the Polyscias filicifolia or Fern-leaf False Aralia is both decorative and low-maintenance. The Polyscias sambucifolia, hardy down to -8°C, can be grown in the ground in mild regions or in a large pot to overwinter in harsher climates.

Native to tropical regions of Asia and the Pacific, Polyscias are characterized by their finely cut, often variegated leaves and their slender silhouette, which fits seamlessly into both contemporary and more natural decor.
They thrive in bright environments but avoid direct sunlight, which may scorch their foliage. Plant them in well-draining potting mix and ensure moderate watering—keep the substrate slightly moist without excess water. These plants also tolerate some dry air, but occasional misting can be beneficial, especially in winter when indoor air tends to be drier.
