PKS
This small 5-tooth traditional garden claw, with a beech handle, is ideal for weeding, aerating, and loosening the soil between plants. For the longevity of your tools, especially when they are as elegant as those made of copper alloy, we advise you to clean them after each use, store them in a dry place, and once a year, sand the handle with fine sandpaper before oiling it.

This small traditional PKS Bronze garden claw from the eponymous brand of the famous Austrian naturalist and ecologist is ideal for weeding, aerating, and loosening the soil between plants. Its copper alloy head is formed by 5 curved teeth arranged in a quincunx pattern.

Dimensions: 5-tooth head: 7cm (3in) - Handle length: 33cm (13in)

The garden claw is an essential tool for gardening, especially for maintaining the soil between vegetables and flowers grown in open ground. It allows for weeding, loosening, and refining the texture of the soil after using a spade, fork, or pickaxe, creating a favourable environment for sowing, germination, and the development of young roots. The garden claw consists of a small handle made of natural beech, known for its hardness, with a socket where the copper alloy head is attached. The head is formed by 5 curved teeth, slightly hooked at their ends, positioned in a quincunx pattern, resembling a cat's paw. This tool can also be manoeuvered around vegetable plants, flower beds, or shrubs to remove young weeds that can be easily collected. The handle is compostable, and the head is recyclable. The garden claw is sometimes called a garden fork, cultivator, claw-pick, or hoe.

The PKS Bronze company is an Austrian enterprise specialized in traditional tools made of copper alloy. Copper tools are imperishable, they do not rust and last a lifetime. They also have the advantage of not needing sharpening. Finally, they are also elegant, with the aesthetic of copper providing a noble and silky aspect. Copper tools, with their extreme longevity, are faithful companions to their owners for decades.

Directions for use The 5-toothed copper garden claw is particularly suitable for heavy soils. It is used to refine the soil, especially in spring, after preparing and turning the soil with a spade, pickaxe, or fork-spade. It can also be used for weeding: scrape the soil and then remove the unwanted weeds. It is also a useful ally for cleaning the borders near the crops, without risking damage to their roots. You can also harvest small potatoes using the garden claw.
