This large traditional cultivator, made of copper alloy with its powerful concave tooth and lime wood handle, is ideal for weeding, aerating, and loosening the soil between plants. Its large size and the quality of its materials will make it your back and garden's friend. This tool comes with a 2-year warranty.

This large Pegasus copper cultivator from the PKS Bronze range, the homonymous brand of the famous Austrian ecologist and naturalist, is ideal for aerating and loosening the soil between plants. Its copper alloy head, which releases micro particles into the soil during use, helps to amend it with this natural soil constituent with each pass of its concave tooth. Durable and resistant, thanks to its long beech handle inserted into the socket, it is a well-made tool that will accompany the gardener for many years.

Dimensions: concave tooth head 24 x 13cm (5in) - Handle length: 1.5m (5ft)

The garden cultivator is one of the essential tools when gardening, especially for soil maintenance between vegetables and flowers grown in open ground. It allows for weeding, loosening, and refining the texture of the soil after using a spade, fork, or pickaxe, creating a favourable environment for sowing, germination, and the development of young roots. This large tool consists of a long beech handle with a socket where the copper alloy head is attached. The head is formed by a powerful concave tooth that will bring up residues and roots from the soil. This tool can also maneuver around vegetable plants, in flower beds or bushes to dislodge young weeds that can be easily collected. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable. The cultivator is sometimes called a garden fork, garden claw, claw pickaxe, or hoe.

PKS Bronze is an Austrian company specialized in the production of traditional tools made of copper alloy. Copper tools are durable, they do not rust and last a lifetime. They also have the advantage of not becoming blunt, there is no need to sharpen them. Finally, they are also elegant, with the aesthetic of copper providing a noble and silky appearance. Copper tools, with their extreme longevity, are faithful companions to their owners for decades.

Directions for use The copper Pegasus cultivator by Schauberger with its concave and powerful blade is particularly suitable for preserving your energy during soil preparation or cleaning phases. It is also a useful ally for cleaning the borders near the plants, without the risk of harming their roots. It is used to refine the soil, especially in spring, after preparing and turning the soil with a spade, pickaxe or fork-spade. To maintain the beautiful appearance of your copper tool, we recommend cleaning it with a hard brush after each use, storing it away from moisture, and once a year sanding the handle with fine sandpaper and oiling it with a mixture of linseed oil and turpentine for easier application. You can dilute it half and half and for faster drying of the handle, use boiled linseed oil.
