The scraper is a tool designed for chemical-free weeding. It allows for manual and mechanical weeding, by superficially scraping the soil without turning it. The scraper's head cuts at the neck of the plants, at the junction between the above-ground vegetation and the root system. The head of this NaturOvert model is a 16cm (6in) wide triangle, entirely made of high-carbon hardened steel. The 3 fixing points ensure its long-term durability and each of its 3 points is made of double-thickness steel. The blade side is used for scraping on asphalt, concrete, pavers, along a border, wall, or gutter, while the points scrape between pavers and slabs. The conical socket is fixed with screws, allowing for easy handle replacement if necessary. This tool works quickly and precisely, easily manoeuvering under plants, even when they have abundant foliage. The 150cm (59in) handle is made of 100% PEFC-certified wood, meaning it comes from sustainably managed forests. It is finished with a "pommel" and drilled at its end for easy tool storage. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable. This product, assembled in France, is backed by a 15-year warranty from the manufacturer.
