PKS
A practical, sturdy and efficient root puller designed to effortlessly weed thanks to its rounded rocker that serves as a lever. It is an ideal tool for extracting weeds, especially when they have long taproots (thistles, dandelions, sow thistles, greater celandines). It will be very useful in the vegetable garden, lawn, base of hedges, and flower beds. Its handle is made of beech, and its head is made of copper, which deposits microparticles in the soil over time, contributing to its enrichment with this natural soil component.

This copper root puller withPKS Bronze wooden handle is designed to weed efficiently and effortlessly, making it an essential tool for vegetable and ornamental gardens. Its two-pronged copper head penetrates the soil easily, and the rounded pivot on the handle acts as a lever, making it easier to pull out "weeds". The copper head releases microparticles into the soil, contributing to its natural composition. Copper tools are durable and do not rust, lasting a lifetime. They also do not require sharpening.

Additionally, they are elegant, with the copper aesthetic providing a noble and silky appearance. Copper tools, known for their extreme longevity, become faithful companions to their owners for decades. This tool also has an ergonomic wooden handle, offering optimal grip.

The root puller is used to weed small areas precisely. This tool excels particularly when removing pivot roots deeply anchored in the soil and difficult to pull out without breaking. These roots are found in carrots, parsnips, oaks, and many "weeds" such as dandelions, plantains, thistles, sowthistles, and docks. To destroy these plants, removing at least the first 5-7 centimetres (2-3 inches) of the root, sometimes even the entire root, along with the leaf rosette, is necessary. Leaving a small portion of the root deep in the soil will prevent the undesirable plant from surviving. The head is inserted into the soil at the neck of the plant, with pressure applied to the handle. Once the head is sufficiently inserted, the user places the pivot on the ground and presses the handle to create leverage. The head comes up with the root, and the plant can be easily removed by grabbing its foliage.

This model comprises a beechwood handle known for its longevity and a socket with an attached copper head. The handle has a hole for hanging the tool on a nail. As it requires working in a crouched position, it is suitable for small surfaces such as flower beds, vegetable gardens, or the base of a hedge and for maintaining raised plantings such as raised beds or flower pots.

Directions for use This copper root puller with a wooden handle, designed by Schauberger, is designed to weed efficiently and effortlessly. It's a tool that will prove indispensable in vegetable gardens and ornamental gardens. This tool excels particularly when removing so-called pivot roots, which are deeply anchored in the soil and difficult to pull out without breaking them. These roots are commonly found in many 'weeds' such as dandelions, plantains, thistles, and dock leaves. The head of the tool sinks into the soil at the plant's collar, with pressure applied to the handle. Once the head is sufficiently buried, the user places the lever on the ground by pressing the handle to create leverage. The head comes up with the root, and all that's left is to grab the plant by its foliage to remove it. The copper head, which releases microparticles into the soil during use, helps enrich it with this natural soil component. A hole in the handle allows the tool to be hung on a nail. It is best to work after rain or watering, as moistened soil significantly facilitates the weeding or harvesting process. It is also preferable to work on young plants whose roots are less developed and who have not had time to reseed.
