Our editorial charter: tips for responsible gardening

Enjoyment and creativity

Gardening is above all about doing something that makes us feel good, both physically and mentally. It's about switching off, taking time, and doing something with our hands. Our articles offer advice and ideas to help and inspire you without imposing a style or pushing you into a quest for perfection.

Practical advice

We offer simple, practical advice on planting, growing, and caring for plants, based on the expertise of our writers (landscape gardeners, professional horticulturalists, plant enthusiasts). We sometimes provide botanical or technical insights, but western clear of any technical jargon: our articles are problem-solving-oriented and designed to help gardeners.

Honest advice

We maintain full editorial autonomy in relation to the nursery's commercial activities. We write about all interesting plants, even those we don't sell, as long as they offer an ornamental, environmental, or growing appeal. If a plant is unsuitable for a garden or a gardener, our Plantfit application will advise against it.

Advice for everyone

Our aim is to be accessible to novice gardeners whilst providing insights to seasoned gardeners. We write for all types of green spaces, whether private, communal, or urban gardens to balconies. We address everyone in simple, jargon-free language.

Environmentally-friendly advice

Our advice systematically promotes organic growing-approved gardening products and environmentally-friendly practices (protecting plants, soil, biodiversity, water management).

Promoting "adapted planting

The first step in responsible gardening is to grow plants that are suited to one’s environment and skills, as this helps combat the over-consumption of plants. Our anti-waste application ‘Plantfit’ provides ultra-customised advice on selecting the right plants for the right place.
