Our range of large autumn sedums. These hardy perennial plants, sometimes called orpins reprise, extend the beauty of flower beds until the first cold weather. The Sedum 'Herbstfreude' or ‘Autumn Joy’ is one of the most appreciated for its large umbels of pink flowers that turn coppery brown in autumn. The Sedum spectabile 'Septemberglut', on the other hand, charms with its tall upright stems and starry bright pink flowers.
The orpine or Sedum ‘Matrona’ captivates with its purple foliage and pale pink flowers that provide a subtle contrast to flower beds, while the large Sedum ‘Brilliant’ brightens up the garden with its very luminous light pink inflorescences. These perennial plants are particularly attractive to bees and butterflies, while bringing structure and volume to your autumn compositions.
Easy to grow, these large autumn sedums thrive in full sun and tolerate drought well. They adapt to various types of soil, provided they are well-drained. They require little maintenance, making them ideal plants for dry gardens or those without irrigation.
