Persicaria orientalis Cerise Pearls

The ‘Cerise Pearls’ Oriental Persicaria is a recent variety selected for its compact habit, well-suited for pots and hanging baskets. This majestic annual plant is covered all summer long with flowers resembling pinkish-red tassels. They are nectar-rich and make excellent flowers for your dried bouquets. From the Polygonaceae family, the Oriental Persicaria is also known as Polygonum orientale. This herbaceous annual is native to Asia and appreciated for its spectacular summer flowering and its lush foliage. It easily reaches a height of 1.5m. 'Cerise Pearls' generally does not exceed 1m high. Its green leaves are heart-shaped. It is a very floriferous plant.
