This narrow shovel, called a Polet cable laying shovel, is of professional quality, designed to facilitate the removal of soil and stones when creating planting ditches and trenches. It is a shovel with a long and narrow blade with a sharpened edge that allows for precise movements, particularly useful for creating and maintaining the shapes of excavations and embankments during finishing work. Made from the most resistant materials, the blade is made of lacquered high-grade steel mounted on a handle made of ash wood, which is both sturdy and flexible. Its ergonomic handle is slightly curved and 130 cm (51in) long, which allows for the use of less force and less leaning during efforts.

Dimensions: head: 36 x 14 cm (6in) - handle length: 130 cm (51in)
The cable laying shovel is perfect for removing soil and stones from excavations such as ditches and trenches. Its particularly long, narrow blade with a sharpened edge allows for precise, quick, and deep material movements. Use its long, curved handle to dig and collect without bending too much. In the professional field, it is used to dig grooves for the passage of cables and ducts. In gardening, it can be used for laying pipes for soil drainage or for laying cables to bring light to certain points in the garden. Its handle is made of ash wood, known to be the best wood for making handles for manual tools. It combines strength and durability. This handle is equipped with a metal socket where the forged blade made of extra-hardened high-grade steel, extremely strong and lacquered black, is fixed. The handle is compostable and the metal head is recyclable.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
