A quality Senlis spade, made from robust materials. It has a 90cm (35in) handle made of eucalyptus wood, which is known for its hardness, and a 1.8mm thick tempered iron blade. The crutch-shaped handle makes it easy to grip and increases the user's strength. This is a beautiful hand tool designed for working and turning the soil, incorporating compost or manure, dividing plants, or planting flowers and young bushes. Manufacturer's warranty for 8 years.

This Leborgne Senlis Terracotta spade is equipped with a handle made of eucalyptus wood ending in a T, and a thick tempered iron spade blade. It is a sturdy and well-finished garden tool that will accompany the gardener for many years. It is perfect for working and turning the soil, preparing planting holes, creating neat borders, dividing plants, and carrying out small landscaping tasks.

Dimensions:

- Spade blade: 28cm (11in) in height

- Handle length: 90cm (35in)

- Weight: 1.75kg

The spade is an essential tool, designed for lifting, turning, and loosening and crumbling the soil deeply, in non-stony soils and on small surfaces. Fertiliser (well-decomposed compost, organic fertiliser, horse manure) can be incorporated into the soil at the same time it is turned. With its sharp edges, it is also used for digging, cutting roots, or uprooting certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips). This model consists of a handle made of sustainably managed eucalyptus wood (PEFC 100% certified), a wood that offers 15 to 20% higher resistance than beech or ash wood. The metal socket securely holds the 1.8mm thick blade, which is made of tempered iron. The blade is resistant to shocks, torsion, and corrosion thanks to its finish. The crutch-shaped handle, ending in a T, multiplies the force: it enables leverage to drive the head into the ground. It is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable. This tool, assembled in France, is guaranteed for 8 years by the manufacturer.

Leborgne designs, manufactures, and sells tools whose quality comes from over 175 years of expertise. The brand has built a solid reputation among professionals and amateur gardeners. It is one of the last garden tool brands to maintain manufacturing in France. Its quality and constant innovation have earned the loyalty of demanding customers.

This tool is under warranty. This warranty only applies to the metal parts, except consumables (screws, springs, etc.), and within the scope of normal use. The warranty does not apply to handles or grips.

Directions for use The Senlis spade is an essential tool designed for lifting, turning, and loosening and crumbling the soil deeply on small surfaces. It is suitable for soft and light soils as well as clayey soils, but not stony soils. Fertiliser can be incorporated into the soil at the same time as it is turned over. The sharp spade is also used for making planting holes, clean edges, cutting roots, and uprooting certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips). It is suitable for rather light soils. It can also be used for various small earthworks. The handle, ending in a T-shape, multiplies the force. It enables leverage to drive the head into the soil. Clean your tool after use and store it away from bad weather.
