The spade is an essential tool, designed for lifting, turning, and loosening and crumbling the soil deeply, in non-stony soils and on small surfaces. Fertiliser (well-decomposed compost, organic fertiliser, horse manure) can be incorporated into the soil at the same time it is turned. With its sharp edges, it is also used for digging, cutting roots, or uprooting certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips). This model consists of a handle made of sustainably managed eucalyptus wood (PEFC 100% certified), a wood that offers 15 to 20% higher resistance than beech or ash wood. The metal socket securely holds the 1.8mm thick blade, which is made of tempered iron. The blade is resistant to shocks, torsion, and corrosion thanks to its finish.
