This narrow flat wire wire with 9 teeth, equipped with a hard wood handle and a mirror-polished stainless steel head, is a sturdy and durable tool, perfect for collecting grass clippings, scraping the surface of the soil, and removing moss from the short grass meadow. Like all its stainless steel tools approved by the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society), this broom is guaranteed for life by Burgon & Ball.

This narrow flat bristle rake with a long handle by Burgon & Ball has the specificity of being equipped with a long FSC-certified hardwood handle. This extra reach makes gardening behind borders easier. It is truly a pleasure to use, as the flat bristles pick up leaves and debris without piercing them. It is perfect for removing leaves and debris under bushes, so that slugs and snails have nowhere to hide. The stainless steel of this lawn broom is extremely rust-resistant, so it will remain shiny and beautiful for years to come. A strong leather cord allows you to hang the broom when not in use, keeping things tidy in the shed. This broom, with the arrangement and flexibility of its 9 bristles consolidated by a distribution bar to prevent the bristles from bending, has the advantage of not damaging the ground, paved or tiled surfaces, or the lawn, while reducing fatigue and effort for optimal comfort of use. It allows for light scarification of the lawn, which means removing mosses that tend to develop in the wetter and shaded areas of the lawn, or picking up small pruning debris.

* FSC is an international eco-label guaranteeing that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests

The English have the privilege of being the reference in gardening (if not in cooking). Promesses de fleurs has chosen the English company Burgon & Ball for the quality of its materials and its almost three-century-old steel manufacturing methods. The company has been working with steel in Sheffield since 1730, starting with a patent for solid steel sheep shears. The production of garden shears and equipment quickly surpassed that of sheep shears, but the stainless steel tools from Burgon & Ball are officially approved by the Royal Horticultural Society - probably the ultimate reward in the gardening industry.

The steel used for Burgon & Ball tools is alloyed with carbon to give it strength, and with chromium to prevent the occurrence of rust. It is a very precise balance that needs to be found between chromium and carbon, different for each part of the tool. The heat treatment allows to give exactly the right hardness<span lang

Directions for use The lawn broom is a very useful tool for keeping the lawn and garden in general looking neat and tidy, especially after mowing or trimming, or in autumn when trees shed their leaves, leaving a significant amount of dead leaves on the lawn, terrace, and pathways. This broom also allows for light scarification of the lawn, which means removing moss that tends to develop in the wetter and shadier areas of the grass, or collecting small pruning waste. Make sure to have a large bag for green waste or a wheelbarrow to store and transport them. You can throw them onto the compost heap, gather them at the base of certain frost-sensitive plants to protect them from the cold, or take them to the recycling center. To keep your tool looking its best, we recommend cleaning it with a stiff brush after each use and storing it away from moisture.
