This lawn rake is designed to efficiently collect mowing waste, for a pristine lawn and flower beds. Its 24 flat-tined head, equipped with a crossbar reinforcement called a stiffener, provides a stronger grip on the soil. Its 140cm handle is made of wood, and its head is made of steel.

This 24-tine flat tine lawn rake with stiffener by Spear & Jackson is designed to efficiently collect grass clippings, plant debris, and dead leaves, for a pristine lawn and flower beds. Its particularly wide head is equipped with a crossbar reinforcement that provides a stronger grip on the ground, allowing for more collection with each pass. This model can also be used to rake the surface of the soil and out scrape moss and lichens. Manoeuvrable thanks to its long wooden handle with a steel head, it is also a durable tool that will last for many years.

The lawn rake, with its wide fan-shaped head that is both flexible and rigid, is a very useful tool for maintaining a neat lawn and garden in general, especially after mowing or trimming, or in autumn when trees shed their leaves, leaving a significant amount of dead leaves on the lawn, terrace, and pathways. This rake, with the rigidity of its 24 flat and hooked teeth, not only allows for the collection of all plant debris, but also lightly scarifies the lawn, meaning it scrapes the surface of the soil and removes moss that tends to develop in the wetter and shaded areas, or collects small pruning waste. This high-quality tool consists of a long handle made of beech wood, selected for its hardness and resistance to weather, with a socket where the steel head is attached. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable.

Directions for use The lawn rake is a very useful tool for keeping the lawn and garden in general looking neat and tidy. Especially after mowing or using a strimmer, after significant pruning work on a hedge, or in autumn when trees shed their leaves, leaving a considerable amount of dead leaves on the lawn, terrace, and pathways. This rake will also lightly scarify the lawn, removing moss that tends to develop in the wetter and shadier areas of the grass, or collecting small pruning debris. Prepare a large bag for green waste or a wheelbarrow to store and transport the waste. You can throw it on the compost heap, gather it at the base of certain frost-sensitive plants to protect them from the cold or take it to the recycling centre. Store your garden tool away from the sun and bad weather to extend its lifespan.
