Our range of red Astilbes. Colourful varieties like Astilbe 'Vision in Red' or A. japonica 'Vesuvius', with their feathery panicles displaying beautiful red hues. Astilbes are remarkable perennial plants that thrive in moist soil and semi-shaded areas, and selections with red flowers stand out wonderfully in slightly darker spots. Among the best are Astilbe japonica 'Montgomery', a very floriferous variety, with dark glossy foliage and deep carmine red panicles emerging from it. Also discover A. chinensis Mighty 'Chocolate Cherry', a beautiful upright plant that dominates with its incandescent red flowering and a tuft of foliage tinged with brown, purple and red hues. Essential on the banks of a pond and in marshy areas, these semi-shade perennials are very cold-resistant, never get sick, and live a long time in the same spot. In addition to their flowering, the more or less divided foliage is often decorative, although it disappears in winter. We offer a wide choice of red species and varieties!
