Our range of pink Astilbes. The varieties presented here produce feathery panicles in summer, with a range of colours from the softest pink in Astilbe simplicifolia 'Pink Lightning', for example, to the deepest pink in Astilbe chinensis 'Veronica Klose'. In between, there is a wide variety of pink tones, as this colour is not rare in Astilbe. The height of these plants, when in flower, varies from 40cm (16in) in the Astilbe Younique® Silvery Pink to over 1.20m (4ft) in the 'Cattleya' cultivar, for example. The Nepalese botanical species called Astilbe myriantha even reaches 1.50m (5ft). These are predominantly perennial plants that thrive in moist soils, essential on the banks of a pond and in marshy areas. They prefer semi-shaded positions, without direct sunlight. They are all very cold-resistant, never get sick, and live for a long time in the same spot. In addition to flowering, the foliage, which is more or less divided, is often decorative, although it disappears in winter. We offer a wide choice of pink species and varieties!
