From La Cordeline, this natural linen wired string is rigid but very easy to work with. It has uses as varied and original as in the garden and on the terrace for tying or supporting plants, as well as in the home for creating various decorative objects. It allows delicate plants to be trained, staked, and tied with a simple twist, effectively holding them without harming fragile stems. It is supplied in a 200g roll of approximately 120m (394ft) of 1.5mm (0in) diameter wire-cored string. Natural colour.

This string is made from linen, using 100% plant-based fibres, uncoloured, wrapped around a wire. Rustic in appearance, the colour is the linen's natural, very light beige colour. Its mechanical qualities are those of wire: it can take any desired shape, twists very easily and retains the shape given to it. This practical wired string allows you to tie up plants with a simple twist, without the need for a knot, and so it can be easily untied and reused. Importantly, the linen fibres surrounding the wire prevent the string from harming the plant stems. The linen string is biodegradable, has high mechanical strength, is difficult to burn, and resists abrasion and moisture. It can be cut using a strong pair of scissors or small cutting pliers. The metal hook allows the spool to be hung.
