Two small erodiums arrived in very good condition. I was already familiar with the Bishop's Form, which I had bought last year and which thrived wonderfully as ground cover. The flowering is very long, almost continuous. Very easy to grow.

Description
A Duo of Pink and White Erodiums, two different varieties that flower enthusiastically from late spring to late summer, even in poor, limestone, rocky soil, dry in summer. These are small perennial cushion plants, similar to bloody cranesbill, and they are used in the same way in the garden: in an alpine or classic rockery, above walls, in cracks between stones and sunny borders in well-drained soil. And even in pots. Erodium x variabile does not mind drought or cold, but dislikes winter humidity.
The Duo consists of:
- 1 Erodium x variabile 'Bishop's Form', with pink flowers veined with purple, very vibrant.
- 1 Erodium x variabile 'Album', with white flowers delicately veined with purple.
Plant these Erodiums in spring in well-drained soil, in full sun. They prefer neutral to limestone soils, rocky and not retaining water. Erodium x variabile is a small hardy and drought-tolerant plant that only dislikes very clayey and waterlogged soils in winter. It will thrive at the edge of a slightly raised bed (20 cm is enough) in a mixture of garden soil and gravel, in a good pocket of potting soil between the rocks of the rockery or on a slope where the soil has been well loosened.
Create a beautiful mosaic by combining this Duo of Pink and White Erodiums with Sedum dasyphyllum, Delosperma in pink, violet or white, Teucrium ackermanii or thymes, for example. They are perfect with our collection of hardy geraniums. You can grow them in pots in a mixture of equal parts potting soil, garden soil and gravel.

Erodium x variabile is best planted in spring in well-drained soil in a very sunny location. It prefers neutral to alkaline, rocky soils that are well-drained and do not retain water. This plant does not tolerate clayey or compact soils that are very wet in winter. It is not susceptible to any disease or parasite. It is a small, hardy, drought-tolerant plant. It requires almost no maintenance. Clean the clump, if necessary, at the end of winter.
