Beautiful tulips. Only one regret, the flowering is quite staggered, so it's difficult to judge the harmony.

Description

Lovely collection of 4 varieties of single tulips with large flowers. Their stem is very sturdy which gives them good resistance to bad weather. Each variety blooms at a different height, allowing for a play of height and colour.

This Light Tulips collection consists of:

5 Cassini Triumph tulips: with intense red flowers and a height of 45 cm (18 in).

Planting and care

How to plant your tulips:

Plant your tulips as soon as possible in a well-drained soil. Loosen the soil deeply. Plant at a depth of 15 cm (6 in). (Bulbs should be covered with twice their height in soil.) Space the bulbs a few centimetres (about an inch) apart, making sure they do not touch each other. Choose a sunny location for better flowering. After flowering, cut the flower stalks and let the leaves dry completely before cutting them. After flowering, their foliage becomes unsightly and we recommend planting Heuchera, Foamflower, Brunnera, Bleeding Heart or Cypress Spurge, at the forefront of your flower beds. Their foliage will enhance the colours of your tulips and during the season they will elegantly hide their yellowed leaves.
