Mid-season tomatoes are varieties whose harvest generally begins between 65 and 80 days after planting. They are sown in a warm environment between March and April, and harvested from the end of July until October.

'Burpee Delicious' tomato: giant, round, and uniform fruits

‘Burpee Delicious’ is an American variety that produces round and very regular fruits, arranged in clusters of 3 to 5. The tomatoes start off orange before turning red, which can weigh up to 3 kg for the largest ones, with an average of 250 to 500 g for most.

The beefsteak-type flesh of the ‘Burpee Delicious’ contains few seeds and is not very prone to splitting. Juicy and firm, it has a sweet flavour, well balanced between sweetness and acidity.

An indeterminate variety, ‘Burpee Delicious’ tomato can grow over 2 metres tall. It must therefore be staked as soon as it is planted. Sow between March and April for a harvest from June to September.

'Evergreen' tomato: a variety as beautiful as it is tasty

The ‘Evergreen’ tomato is a mid-season variety that produces beautiful green-orange fruits, with skin that has an “onion skin” pattern. The fruits weigh on average between 100 and 150 g, with emerald green flesh.
