Description
Also known as Inca Lily, this plant is a very floriferous hybrid. It will generously bloom from June to the end of September.
The Inticanchas are new compact varieties, ideal for pots.
This collection offers a delicate range of purplish-pink and white.
Note: Please be aware that our plug plants are professional products reserved for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them under shelter (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame, etc.) at a temperature above 14 °C (57.2 °F) for a few weeks before being installed outdoors once the risk of frost has definitively passed.

Planting and care
Alstroemerias are very hardy and flower generously. Plant your pots in fine weather spaced 15 cm (6 in) apart, in lightened soil mixed with sand and compost. Your soil must be deeply worked because this plant produces roots that live deep down but it does not like effort. Plant them in full sun and do not disturb them in the first season, then mulch them for their first winter in the open ground. They will delight you with their continuous flowering from June to the frost.

It will vary according to where you live:
- In zones 9 to 10 (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), flowering will occur about 2 to 4 weeks earlier.
- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
- In zone 5 (Central Europe, Scandinavia), blooming will be delayed by 3 to 5 weeks.
In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
Pruning of summer-flowering shrubs (Indian Lilac, Perovskia, etc.) can be done in winter or spring.
In cold regions as well as with frost-sensitive plants, avoid pruning too early when severe frosts may still occur.
