The young plants, too small, did not withstand the transport. One had died upon arrival, the others did not survive 2 weeks (it must be said that the spring was not the best). PROMESSE DE FLEURS' RESPONSE: We are truly sorry as we attach great importance to the quality of our plants and their growth. If you encounter any issues, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service at 03.61.76.08.10 or by email: serviceclient@promessedefleurs.com and we will proceed with replacement or refund if necessary.

Planting and care

All young plants in this collection are grafted and delivered as plug plants, which gives them excellent vigour and better disease resistance, but also a certain fragility.
Handle each plug plant with care, avoiding squeezing or damaging the young roots.

Upon receipt, it is best to let them bulk up and strengthen in individual pots, in a bright location, sheltered from cold and wind. Water lightly to keep the rootball moist, without excess, and allow the young plants to develop a good root system for 1 to 2 weeks.

Once the young plants are well established and the risk of frost has passed, generally from mid-April to the end of May, you can transplant them into the garden. Choose a warm, sunny location sheltered from the wind, with rich, loose, well-drained soil. In open ground, dig a hole slightly wider than the rootball, carefully place the young plant without breaking the rootball, and be careful not to bury the graft union.

Water generously after planting, install a sturdy stake, space the young plants 50 to 70 cm apart, and mulch to retain moisture. Then water regularly at the base and feed the young plants with an organic fertiliser or diluted manure every two weeks.
