This liquid fertiliser is a mineral fertiliser enriched with trace elements that promotes the growth and beauty of the foliage of boxwood cultivated in pots or containers. It prevents deficiencies and provides all the essential nutrients in a small growing space. Sold in a 0.5L container.

The liquid fertiliser for Boxwood NPK 6-4-5 with trace elements is a complete mineral fertiliser that promotes uniform growth and ensures lush green foliage for your boxwood or small cultivated conifers in pots, containers, and planters. It prevents deficiencies, limits leaf yellowing, and provides all the essential nutrients in a small volume of growing medium. Packaged in a 0.5L container, it allows you to prepare 125 litres of nutrient solution.

Boxwood and dwarf conifers grown in pots and containers have a limited volume of substrate that quickly becomes depleted over time. Therefore, it is important to provide these plants with nutrients throughout their lives to keep them healthy for many years. This fertiliser is rich in nitrogen to promote vegetative growth and enhance foliage. Only feed your boxwood on a substrate that has been watered 24 hours in advance.

This boxwood fertiliser comes in the form of a concentrated solution of nutrients to be diluted in irrigation water. It does not come from organic matter derived from living organisms, but from inert mineral matter such as certain rocks. Its formulation is NPK 6-4-5 with trace elements. This means it contains:

  • 6% nitrogen (N): this element contributes to the development of non-reproductive above-ground parts of the plant, especially leaves and stems.
  • 4% phosphorus (P), which strengthens plant resistance and contributes to root development.
  • 5% potassium (K): essential for good yields, it promotes flowering and fruit development.
  • Water-soluble trace elements: 0.013% boron (B), 0.003% copper (Cu) chelated by EDTA, 0.021% iron chelated by EDTA (Fe), 0.011% manganese (Mn) chelated by EDTA, 0.001% molybdenum (Mo), 0.006% zinc (Zn) chelated by EDTA.

Uses: from March to September, every 15 days or 3 weeks, throughout the growth period. Also recommended for dwarf conifers or other evergreen shrubs grown in containers for their foliage.

Dosage: 1 capful, equivalent to 20 ml, per 5L of water.

To live and multiply, plants need water, about twenty essential nutrients that they find in mineral form in the soil, carbon dioxide (CO2) present in the air, and solar energy essential for photosynthesis. The basic elements, called macronutrients, are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). They must be present in the soil in significant quantities. The secondary elements, less important in terms of quantity but still essential, are calcium (Ca), sulfur (S), and magnesium (Mg). Finally, trace elements, required in very small quantities, include iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), copper (Cu), boron (B), zinc (Zn), chlorine (Cl), sodium (Na), cobalt (Co), vanadium (V), and silicon (Si). The role of fertiliser is to compensate for soil deficiencies and provide, through optimal dosage, the elements that promote plant growth, flowering and fruit production, or root, bulb, and tuber development.
