As Christmas approaches, the desire to transform the home into a joyful and bright cocoon becomes palpable. Decorations are put in place, but the trend is increasingly leaning towards natural materials, inspired by Scandinavian atmospheres and the joy of homemade creations. To make this Christmas even warmer, we offer you a simple and creative tutorial to make a natural wall decoration that blends winter softness, festive spirit, and love for the garden. A lovely way to invite nature into the home and create a handmade decoration for the festive season.

Materials Needed
- A branch from a tree or bush (15 to 20 cm), here a piece of birch.
- Natural cord for wall hanging.
- Strong wire to secure the decorations.
- Natural elements: pine cones, fir or thuja foliage, slices of dried fruit, cinnamon sticks, etc.
- Some additional decorations: small Christmas baubles, ribbons, etc.
- A knife for making notches.
- Scissors for cutting the cord.

Steps to Create a Natural Christmas Wall Decoration
1- Gather the branch, cord, natural elements you wish to use, and tools so that everything is within reach.
2- About three centimetres from each end, make a slight notch in the bark with the knife. This small furrow will hold the cord in place and stabilise the decoration.

3- Cut a piece of cord about 30 to 40 centimetres long. Tie it in each of the notches to form a secure attachment. The branch then becomes the base of the suspension, ready to be decorated.

4- Using small pieces of wire, hang the elements one by one: pine cones, thuja branches, foliage, slices of dried fruit, cinnamon sticks or decorative baubles. Vary the heights to create a harmonious plant mobile.

5- Once decorated, the suspension easily finds its place in an entrance, a living room, or near the tree. The adorned branch instantly brings a soft and festive atmosphere, perfect for instilling the spirit of Christmas in the home.
