Planting Incarvilleas
Where and how?

Choosing the planting location
Incarvilleas are sun-loving plants. They can tolerate partial shade but will flower best when planted in a south-facing position with full sunlight. They don’t compete well with other plants, which is why it’s important to plant them either as standalone specimens or in groups.

Choosing the right planting substrate
They thrive in very well-draining soil that is rich and moist during the flowering period.
Planting method
Plant your Incarvillea roots upright, with the stem facing upwards, and add pure sand when planting. The top of your root should be covered with at least 8 to 10 cm of light soil. This will prevent your flowering plant from being snapped at the base by the first strong gust of wind. Hardy, mulch it only in very cold regions. In damp soil, we recommend lifting your bulbs in October and replanting them in early April.
