Description

The Incarvillea have white flowers that are carried by a sturdy stem.

The leaves are 20 to 30 cm (8 to 12in) long and medium green. In June and July, clusters of 5 to 10 flowers, 4 to 8 cm (2 to 3in) in diameter, appear.

They are repellent against moles.

Planting and care

Plant your incarvillea roots upright, with the wide part to which several fleshy roots are attached facing upwards. The top of your bulb should be covered with at least 7 cm (3in) of soil. This will prevent your flowering plant from snapping by the first strong gust of wind. Hardy bulb in warm regions. In other areas, heavily mulch your well-drained and non-humid soil in winter. We recommend removing your bulbs in wet areas in October and replanting them in early April.
