Provide it with a partially shaded or gently sunny spot, sheltered from winds. It is ideal for borders, alongside an alyssum for a golden contrast, alchemillas, and hardy geraniums.

Campanula poscharskyana 'Lisduggan Variety'
The Campanula poscharskyana ‘Lisduggan Variety’ is one of the most vigorous varieties. Its evergreen or semi-evergreen foliage forms a groundcover cushion 30 cm high and 60 cm wide. This variety stands out for its unique flowering, featuring star-shaped flowers in lavender pink. It is a robust plant that deserves a prominent place among rockeries or borders. Its dark blue-violet bell-shaped flowers are gathered in paniculate clusters that form dense, rounded bouquets. It makes a striking impact in borders and along pathways. At maturity, it reaches a height of about 20 to 30 cm, with a spread of 40 cm. Prefer planting in full sun or partial shade, in ordinary, light, and well-drained soil. Note that it also tolerates slightly calcareous soils. This campanula pairs beautifully with hardy geraniums, an agapanthus, or at the base of a rose bush.
The campanula rotundifolia
The campanula rotundifolia is an excellent hardy perennial that is low-maintenance and easily establishes itself in gardens and borders. It will adapt to all types of soil that remain cool during its flowering period. Plant it in full sun or partial shade. Depending on the growing conditions and soil richness, its height can vary from 10 to 50 cm, with a spread of about 30 cm. From late spring until October, it provides a long display of small lavender-blue bells borne on thin stems. In borders, you can pair it with a gentian, white creeping gypsophila or pink, an alchemilla, and hardy geraniums.
