To add a cheerful and vibrant touch to your garden, the Mirato rose is perfect. With its fuchsia pink colour, it covers bare soil with a blanket of semi-double flowers measuring 4 cm, grouped in generous bouquets of 10 to 15 roses. The Mirato rose forms a flowering dome with a trailing habit from June to October. It features dense, glossy light green foliage that spreads 80 cm wide and grows up to a height of 60 cm. The flowers, composed of 15 to 20 petals, bloom in cup shapes, revealing a heart of yellow stamens. Vigorous, it grows effortlessly and has been awarded the ADR label and was named Rose of the Year in England in 1992. This variety from Tantau adapts to all soils, with the exception of very wet ones, and to all climates.

Rosa ‘Mirato’

It forms a low bush of 90 cm in height and 90 cm in width, spectacular with its small bouquets of 4 cm flowers, slightly fragrant. Bred by the Kordes nursery, it is disease-resistant and has received the ADR label. Easy to care for, it grows in all soils that are not too dry and in all climates. You can plant it in a large pot on a terrace, or in a garden at the foot of a bed or to decorate a border.

The Fairy Rose, a must-have

The The Fairy rose is one of the essential groundcover roses. From July to October, it is adorned with a fairy tale of bouquets of small flowers measuring 3 cm in a fresh pink hue. The roses are double and resemble pom-poms with their petals forming rosettes. They lighten in colour as the days go by. The Fairy rose grows into a bush approximately 80 cm high and 90 cm wide within a few years, with a slightly arching habit. The foliage is fine, bronze-green, and semi-evergreen. The stems are thorny and reddish. Vigorous and low-maintenance, it is recommended for beginner gardeners. This cultivar by Bentall dates back to 1932 and is derived from the polyantha rose, which itself is the result of hybridization between Rosa multiflora and Rosa chinensis. It can be planted in a rockery, on a slope, in a flowerbed, as a border, or in a container to decorate a terrace.

Created by Tantau, it is a variation of the already popular The Fairy rose, offering larger and more fragrant flowers on a bush with denser foliage. The flowering period begins a month earlier than for The Fairy and extends from June to October. The double flowers are grouped in bouquets on glossy dark green foliage. They emit a light fruity fragrance. At maturity, the bush reaches 50 cm in height and 40 cm in width. It beautifully enhances your rockeries, borders, slopes, flower beds, or large pots.

The Emera rose is part of the Decorosier family, known for their generous flowering, disease resistance, and ground-covering habit. It’s no wonder they have been awarded 8 gold medals and 6 ADR labels! The Emera rose is stunning in a border or as part of a flowerbed. It resembles a bush measuring 60 cm in height and 50 cm in width, taller than wide, covered in glossy dark green foliage. For 4 to 5 months, it is adorned with cascades of single, charming dog-rose flowers, porcelain pink with a white centre and a heart of yellow stamens. They are quite large, with a diameter of 6 cm and slightly fragrant. Before blooming, they resemble copper-red buds. In autumn, decorative red fruits take over.
