This fertiliser, rich in Magnesium directly assimilated by vegetation, is a ready-to-use solution that can be used for the prevention and treatment of magnesium deficiencies, which manifest on the older leaves of plants through the appearance of yellow spots that eventually turn brown. It is sprayed directly onto the affected plant (lettuces, tomatoes, roses, raspberries, strawberries, citrus trees). Packaged in a 750ml spray bottle.

This magnesium anti-deficiency solution is a ready-to-use solution for the prevention and treatment of magnesium deficiencies, which specifically affect certain vegetable, fruit, and floral crops. It manifests through certain symptoms that are important to recognize in order to apply the treatment appropriately. Convenient and very easy to use, this 750ml spray-packaged fertilizer is sprayed directly onto the vegetation of the deficient plant.

To live and multiply, plants need water, about twenty essential nutrients that they find in mineral form in the soil, carbon dioxide (CO2) present in the air, and solar energy essential for photosynthesis. The basic elements, called macronutrients, are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). They need to be present in the soil in significant quantities. The secondary elements, less quantitatively present but equally essential, are magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), and sulphur (S). Finally, the trace elements, necessary in very small quantities, are represented by boron (B), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), chlorine (Cl), sodium (Na), cobalt (Cao), vanadium (V), and silicon (Si).

The role of magnesium in plants: it is a major component for the proper functioning of several cellular enzymes, and it constitutes the central atom of the chlorophyll molecule, the green pigment that colours foliage and is essential for their survival. Magnesium plays an important role in plant growth and contributes to the synthesis of plant proteins. The symptoms of deficiency first appear on older leaves, which gradually become yellow while retaining green veins, and eventually turn brown and wither. In the case of iron chlorosis (due to poor iron assimilation), it is the new leaves that yellow first. While magnesium availability is not significantly related to soil pH (acidity, neutrality, or alkalinity), it improves as pH increases.

Magnesium deficiency is relatively common, naturally, but it can also be caused by an excess of calcium (Ca), potassium, or sodium. Insufficient crop rotation can also be the cause of a deficiency in secondary elements, as plants excessively draw resources from the soil without sufficient replenishment from external sources. The crops on which magnesium deficiency is most often observed are: lettuce and related salads, tomatoes, roses, strawberries, raspberries, and citrus trees.

This ready-to-use liquid treatment can prevent magnesium deficiency in advance or resolve it in affected plants.
