Rose 'Catherine Deneuve', elegance and distinction
Created by rose breeder Meilland, the ‘Catherine Deneuve’ rose is a classic in gardens and bouquets, prized for its elegance and distinction, reflecting the great French actress. It flowers from May to October, producing luminous blond-pink flowers with subtle shades ranging from orange to pink. Its large blooms open into cup shapes revealing a charming heart of golden-yellow stamens and diffusing a light fragrance with notes of citrus trees.
The ‘Catherine Deneuve’ rose forms a dense bush with an erect habit. It grows to 90 cm in height and can spread to 60 cm in width. Its elegant foliage is dark green with a glossy finish and its sturdy branches are sparsely thorny. It shows very good disease resistance. The ‘Catherine Deneuve’ rose has received numerous awards, notably the Gold Medal of Rome in 1979. It is well showcased by proximity of perennials with light flowering, such as asters or penstemons, as well as grasses or nepetas. In a bouquet, it pairs wonderfully with peonies and white lilacs.

Very glamorous, like the famous Italian actress, this hybrid tea produces large turbinate flowers 13 cm in diameter, from May to October. This bush can reach a height of 1 m and a spread of 50 cm. It looks stunning in a bouquet.

Rose 'Claude Brasseur', a Meilland classic
Raised by Meilland, originating from the rose ‘Charles de Gaulle’, Rose ‘Claude Brasseur’ is a classic from this renowned rose breeder. With its large mauve flowers, a shade between lavender and pink, and its scent with notes of verbena and lemon characteristic of “blue roses”, it charms equally in the garden and as a cut flower in a vase.
It is a modern hybrid tea that forms a shrub about 80 cm high and 70 cm wide. It bears bronze-green foliage that darkens and becomes semi-matt with growth. The flowers, 13–14 cm in diameter, bloom from May to October and open to a tight centre. It shows good disease resistance.
With Rose ‘Claude Brasseur’, dare bold pairings. Pair it with a red rose such as Rose ‘Papa Meilland’ or with shades of yellow.

Rose 'Gérard Depardieu', a soft pink
Generous double flowers, a soft pink colour, an intense scent of rose, the rose ‘Gérard Depardieu’ has plenty to please! Created by Paul Croix, this hardy, bushy bush reaches up to 1 m in height with a spread of 70 cm. Amid its reddish foliage turning deep green, 11 to 12 cm roses appear from June to October.
For bouquet lovers, they keep well in a vase and can be combined with other roses by playing on shades of the same colour or on contrasts by choosing other colours.
Rose 'Louis de Funès', a rare orange colour
Created by Meilland in 1987, the Louis de Funès rose is one of this nursery’s best-sellers, doubtless because of its rare vivid orange colour blended with yellow. Its large flowers, 10 to 12 cm across, open from June to September on very decorative glossy green, corrugated foliage. They emit a light fragrance. Showing good disease resistance, this rose takes the form of a bushy bush 1 m high by 80 cm wide. It pairs well with blue-flowering perennials or with delicate white gypsophilas.
