When to plant
Early narcissi that bloom as early as February (February Gold, Tête à tête) prefer to be planted early in autumn, from September.
How to plant
To achieve a natural result, plant them in groups of at least 7 bulbs, spacing them 3 to 4 cm apart. Cover the bulbs with soil twice their height.
Choose locations where you won’t have to work the soil, to avoid the risk of accidentally cutting the bulbs with a spade.

Hasten classic varieties
You can also “force” other varieties of daffodils by planting them early in the season as well, after leaving them for about ten days in the vegetable drawer of your refrigerator; this will accelerate their flowering by 15 days to a month compared to the usual dates for these varieties.
