For many years, professional gardeners have highly recommended this Bahco PX-M2 Professional Ergonomic Pruning Shears Size M Head No.2. It has been designed to provide maximum comfort to the user without compromising on performance or durability. This model for right-handers is ideally suited to an average-sized hand. It is lightweight and features an angled cutting head and ergonomically profiled handles with a non-slip elastomer coating for added comfort. Equipped with cross-cutting blades with a hollow lower face that reduces clogging and benefits from an optimal and long-lasting sharpening process, this model is perfectly adapted to pruning young and live wood that is not too thick. For this model, spare parts are available, and the cutting head is removable and interchangeable to accommodate both right-handed and left-handed users. Different sizes of cutting heads are available, allowing you to choose the right cutting capacity for the task.
Hand pruners are essential for every gardener, whether they need to maintain a small balcony, a terrace, a small urban garden, a large countryside garden, or an orchard. Cross-cutting pruners are the most common type. They consist of two curved and movable blades that slide against each other when the tool handles are squeezed. They work like a pair of scissors. Unlike anvil pruners, they provide a clean and precise cut that does not crush the cut stems. Therefore, they are the most suitable pruners for cutting green wood on live plants as they prevent the formation of wounds that can lead to disease. They can achieve very clean cuts on stems and branches measuring up to 2cm (1in) in diameter.
The Bahco PX-M2 Professional Ergonomic Pruning Shears have been developed according to the ERGO concept. The upper handle fits the shape of the thumb, and its composite material coating is very comfortable. The cutting head is angled both horizontally (to the left for right-handers) and vertically (downwards) to compensate for wrist flexion and allow the hand to remain in a neutral position. This model is suitable for intensive use and reduces the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and carpal tunnel syndrome.
This versatile Bahco PX-M2 Professional Pruning Shears can be used to trim all types of plants in the garden: trees and bushes, fruit trees, conifers, acidophilous plants, plants from mild climates, hedge plants, climbing plants, roses, small fruits and vines, bamboo, and even perennial plants.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
