This organic-mineral UAB fertiliser has been specifically developed to optimise the harvest of root vegetables, as well as the yield of potatoes. Rich in organic matter, it only contains raw materials approved for organic farming. Sold in 10 kg bags.

This fertiliser for root vegetables is the result of a mixture of mineral fertilisers, derived from inert materials and chemistry, and organic fertilisers, derived from living animal or plant materials. The mineral elements are directly assimilated by the roots, while the organic elements have a long-term nutritional action and improve soil structure. This fertiliser, which perfectly meets the needs of root vegetables, is also suitable for fruit trees (small fruits, fruit trees, tomatoes, citrus trees, ...), lawns, and ornamental trees and bushes. It also serves as a good base fertiliser for different growing substrates. However, it should not be used for aquatic plants or acidophilous plants and heathland (rhododendrons, azaleas, pieris, kalmias, heathers...).

To live and multiply, plants need water, about twenty essential nutrients that they find in mineral form in the soil, carbon dioxide (CO2) present in the air, and solar energy essential for photosynthesis. The basic elements, called macronutrients, are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). They should be present in the soil in significant quantities. The secondary elements, less predominant but essential, are calcium (Ca), sulfur (S), and magnesium (Mg). Finally, the trace elements, necessary in very small quantities, are iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), copper (Cu), boron (B), zinc (Zn), chlorine (Cl), sodium (Na), cobalt (Co), vanadium (V), and silicon (Si). The role of fertiliser is to compensate for soil deficiencies and provide, through optimal dosage, the elements that promote either plant growth, flowering and fruit production, or the development of roots, bulbs, and tubers.

Formula:

5% total organic nitrogen (N), 4% mineral phosphoric anhydride, 12% mineral and water-soluble potassium oxide, 3% total mineral magnesium oxide, and finally 40% organic matter.

Nitrogen (N) contributes to the development of non-reproductive aerial parts of the plant, especially leaves and stems.

Phosphorus (P) strengthens plant resistance and contributes to root development.

Potassium (K) contributes to promoting flowering and fruit development.

3MgO, or magnesium oxide, promotes the assimilation of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur.
