Received the product yesterday, in very good condition. Planted it in the soil of my shrubs this morning so it's too early to say what effect it will have on the plants, although I think it will help them! Just a note: the product is rich in iron, so it's quite red. I don't recommend spraying it as indicated on the box, if like me, your plants are in pots on a balcony :p But well, it's easy to clean...! Satisfied with the delivery :)

This treatment is used preventively and curatively to combat iron chlorosis, a deficiency in the assimilation of certain minerals such as iron, which results in yellowing of the leaves in plants sensitive to limestone soils. It contains chelated iron as well as manganese and zinc immediately available to the roots and has a long-lasting greening effect. Suitable for Organic Agriculture. Sold in a 150g pack.

This Masso Anti-chlorosis treatment effectively combats iron chlorosis, caused by a lack of iron assimilation in the soil or by a deficiency in absorption by the roots, as well as sometimes manganese and zinc deficiencies. This results in yellowing of the leaves in plants sensitive to limestone, for example. It allows for rapid assimilation of these elements and has a long-lasting greening effect, from spring to summer. It can be used preventively or curatively, through watering, spreading at the base of crops, or spraying, including in Organic Agriculture. Packaged in a 150g box.

This treatment comes in the form of a powder to be incorporated into the soil at the base of plants or dissolved in watering water. Recommended for alkaline and/or clay soils, this formulation is effective in all types of soil, acidic or basic. Chelated iron and trace elements, instead of chemically binding like their non-chelated equivalent to calcium or other metals or minerals in the soil, are once again made available and assimilable by the plant roots: chlorophyll synthesis is reactivated. In the long run, if left untreated, chlorosis can lead to the decline of the plant.

Iron is a crucial element for the health and growth of plants, but its availability largely depends on the soil pH: in alkaline soil (pH>7), iron will be difficult to absorb for certain acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas... Iron is involved in the composition of several enzymes and certain pigments. It is essential for chlorophyll formation: iron-deficient plants show symptoms of chlorosis in their leaves, which turn yellow instead of green, except for the veins. Manganese is the second most important micronutrient for plants, immediately after iron. Essential for photosynthesis, respiration, and nitrogen assimilation, this element is also involved in pollen germination, elongation of root cells, and their resistance to diseases. Finally, zinc plays a significant role in the synthesis of certain proteins and carbohydrates, as well as in the conversion of starch reserves into simple sugars that constitute the fuel for plant cells. It also plays a role in plant cold resistance and is essential in the production of plant hormones that regulate organ growth.

Usage: in ornamental gardens, orchards, vegetable gardens, or on the terrace, particularly for:

- citrus trees

- all plants known as acid-lovers (hydrangeas, azaleas, rhododendrons, andromedas, camellias, kalmias, gardenias...)

- certain small fruits (raspberries, blueberries, may berries, grapes)

- certain fruit trees

- the lawn

- all plants showing obvious signs of chlorosis in general, including in vegetable gardens.

This Magma iron chelate solution may stain plants, the terrace, or containers and pots.

Follow the instructions, doses, conditions, and precautions on the packaging.
