An ecological and ergonomic garden tool, perfect for working the surface of the soil and weeding around the plants and in tight spaces, while preserving the gardener's back. It is equipped with a square head made of tempered steel with 4 prongs, a foot support area, and a handle ending with an "S" shaped handlebar that conserves the user's strength. Solid and practical, the Rotogrif is a tool that fits perfectly into an organic and renewable gardening approach!

The Leborgne Naturovert 4-prong Rotogrif is a robust, practical, ergonomic, and eco-friendly garden tool. Its square head with four twisted prongs effortlessly sinks into the soil when pressed with the foot, and works precisely under the gardener's control, rotating it while standing upright using the "S" handle. It can be used to prepare the soil, maintain flower beds, rockeries, or vegetable gardens, mix potting soil, compost, or even weed. Finally, the Rotogrif loosens the soil without turning it, preserving its physical structure and avoiding disturbing the biotope that contributes to its richness. This model is suitable for loose, light soils.

This Leborgne Naturovert Rotogrif is a type of small square-headed fork with 4 prongs and a handle that ends in a handlebar. It allows the soil to be loosened by approximately 10cm (4in), simply by penetrating and rotating the sturdy and twisted prongs. Unlike a spade or cultivator, this garden tool does not mix different layers of soil, does not disturb the microbial life, and does not cut earthworms, which are essential for soil health and fertility. The surface layer of the soil is rich in humus, composed of decomposed plant matter that is highly nutritious for plants. The invertebrates, insects, bacteria, and fungi involved in this process require oxygen, and they suffocate when the soil is turned over, while the deeper, poorer layer ends up on the surface. The Rotogrif is used to remove unwanted weeds, prepare the soil before sowing or planting, or loosen the soil around plants and break up the compacted crust that prevents water penetration. With a total height of 106cm (42in), this tool allows you to work with a straight back, minimizing the strain on the back muscles, even with intensive use, and reducing the risk of muscle soreness or other pains. In this model, the handle is made of metal and the head is made of steel. It is guaranteed for 15 years by the manufacturer.

Its use is simple:

  • Push it into the soil by sliding your foot at the level of the head
  • Make rotating movements at the handle level.
