Telescopic Pole Saw and loppers 57600 Spear & Jackson
Telescopic Pole Saw and loppers 57600 Spear & Jackson
Good value for money. I quickly got the hang of the tool, even though I'm not experienced or very skilled. Just make sure each time that the wire (which is used to mechanically operate the blade remotely) is free.

This Telescopic Pole saw and loppers from Spear & Jackson allow you to cut high branches from the ground. This model features a high-carbon steel blade, coated with Teflon for corrosion resistance and easy maintenance. The saw blade, with double teeth, cuts on both the pull and push strokes. Its cutting action is facilitated by a pulley mechanism that multiplies the effort, operated by a cord and handle. The telescopic fibreglass pole helps to reach small branches located over 4.5m from the ground. This model has an exclusive locking system for optimal safety, with a head completely attached to the pole.
Features and technical details:
- Weight: 1.750 kg
- Telescopic pole pruning saw
- Cutting through a pulley system that multiplies the effort
- Powerful spring for repositioning the blade.
- Fibreglass pole, lightweight and very strong
- Pole length: 2 X 1.20 m
- 4 mm carbon steel blade
- Blade coated with Teflon for corrosion resistance and easy maintenance
- Max cutting diameter: 25-30 mm
- Compatible with grafting tool ref: 00378000 (for grafting at height from the ground)
The telescopic pole saw and lopper resembles secateurs attached to the end of a pole, operated by a cord with a handle. The user remains on the ground but can reach and cut high branches. A telescopic pole or a modular pole allows you to reach branches located over 7 metres high without the need for a ladder, and without having to climb the tree. The diameter of the branches that can be cut depends on the models, but generally, they should not exceed 2 or 3 cm in thickness. The telescopic pole pruning saw will cut branches that host caterpillar nests safely, without having to climb the tree or get close to the nest. The telescopic pole pruning saw can also be used for gentle pruning on trees or shrubs.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
