The special American toothed blade for green wood has a bevelled triangular set tooth with the point facing downwards. This means that the teeth are alternately inclined to the right and left, resulting in a wider cutting path than the blade itself. Each tooth is bevelled and hardened with a double edge "hard point". One out of every five teeth is set and has a special shape for better evacuation of fresh sawdust. This blade cuts in both directions: on the push and pull stroke.

Clean the blade with alcohol after use. This gesture helps prevent the transmission of diseases from one plant to another and keeps your tool in good condition for a long time (the sap of some plants can attack the blades or make them sticky over time). Store this tool in a dry place, away from bad weather.
