The size of the seedling trays is perfectly fine, and the plastic is thick enough to allow for handling. It should withstand the test of time for a good while. Very good.

A black thermoformed plastic growing tray specially designed for market gardening, with 20 growing compartments, ideal for sowing young vegetable or flower plants. If you look after it properly, you can reuse it for several years. Store it in a dark place after use. Watering can be done with a watering can fitted with a sprinkler head or by capillary action by placing a piece of carpet under the growing tray, which will be regularly moistened.

This 0.3-litre seedling tray with compartments suits amateur and professional gardeners. Made of robust black plastic, it has 20 cultivation pots in which it is easy to germinate and cultivate young plants. You can sow your vegetables or flowers in them and store them in a bright and heated place. Once the seedlings are sufficiently developed, gently extract them from their cells and transplant them into a pot or garden soil. Well maintained, you can reuse this seedling tray for several years. Store it away from light after use.

The cultivation tray is made of black plastic material, slightly satin, rigid enough to be easily manipulated. It has deep round-based cultivation compartments measuring 2.7 cm (1in) in diameter at the base, all in one piece. This facilitates filling the compartments with potting soil, placement, sowing, handling, care, watering, and transplanting. Watering can be done with a watering can fitted with a sprinkler head or by capillary action by placing a piece of carpet under the growing tray, which will be regularly moistened. The plant will thus be protected against excessive watering and will benefit from a regular water supply with a substrate that will always be moist.

Soparco reusable seedling trays are available in different sizes and models to meet every gardener's needs. You will also find a suitable saucer for each type, allowing for long-lasting substrate moisture.

Detailed features

Directions for use Place your sowing tray on a suitable table, shelf, etc. Fill each of the growing cells with special sowing compost. Sow your seeds following the instructions for each plant, watering lightly. Store in a light, heated room. Make sure the potting soil is always slightly damp but not soggy. Watering can be done by capillary action, for example by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten under the seedbed. In this way, the plant will be protected from over-aggressive watering but will also benefit from a regular supply of water and a substrate that is always moist. You can also place a 2cm high saucer suitable for all Soparco reusable seed trays to keep the substrate moist for a long time—reference: XIOA0001 (Saucer for recoverable seedling tray). Once the seedlings are well developed, carefully remove them from each culture cell to repot them individually in a larger pot or plant them directly in the ground. Fill in with a substrate suited to the plant (potting soil, mix of soil and potting soil, etc.) Water to pack the soil well around the roots. The seed tray can be reused. Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
