Description

Narcussus Triandus Lemon Drops blooms in April-May. On each stem it has 2 to 6 white flowers with a cream-white frilled crown. The flowers have a pleasant fragrance and are attractive to bees, butterflies, and birds. You can cut them for beautiful bouquets.

The foliage is blue-green.

The Lemon Drops narcissus remains compact at 25 cm (10in) high. It thrives in wild gardens, borders, and open wooded areas. Plant it in groups for a more impressive display. It blends well with other spring bulbs, such as crocuses.

This spring bulb is easy to grow and will thrive in both the shade of a woodland and a sunny border. It can also be grown in a pot.

Planting and care

Narcissus Lemon Drops is easy to grow and thrives in full sun and partial shade. Plant the bulbs in autumn in a light, fairly fertile and well-drained soil, kept moist during the growing period. Plant at a depth of at least one and a half times their height, slightly deeper in light soil or a lawn. After flowering, allow the leaves to dry out, as the bulbs will enter a dormant period until the next winter. Remove faded flowers to prevent the formation of seeds that would unnecessarily deplete the bulb.
