Description
Miscanthus sinensis 'Poseidon' is a robust variety with wide foliage forming a large clump. It is medium green with a central white band. Its stems bear slender spikelets that are pinkish-purple, turning silver-grey.
Miscanthus grasses all have deciduous foliage, but it remains decorative for much of the winter. They prefer warm exposures and healthy, rich, deep, well-drained soil that remains moist in summer.
