Here is a remarkable plant. Very vigorous, it is already 1.80m tall, planted this spring. It bloomed from the end of spring and still carries the remains of blue flowers in October. I will prune it soon and mulch it. I hope to see it again next spring.

Description

Salvia uliginosa 'African Skies' is a large plant with spectacular bright azure-blue flowers throughout summer. It flowers until the end of October or even November. New vegetation begins at the end of May.

This "cloud" plant enhances an array of colours and provides opportunities for a multitude of combinations. We often use it in dahlia beds. It blooms for a long time and enhances the colours of other plants.
