Maraîcher's LDPE 70 micron greenhouse film CLIMAFILM PRO

This CLIMAFILM PRO greenhouse forcing film, of very good quality, can be used for several years. Specially designed for gardeners growing vegetables, it allows both to start the cultivation earlier and to extend the harvests. It is placed on hoops to create a high-performance and durable forcing tunnel. Hoops and fasteners sold separately.

This forcing film is made of transparent polyethylene with a remarkable thickness of 70 microns, which gives it a very good resistance to mechanical shocks and good thermal performance. It also provides an effective physical barrier against wind and hail showers. Thanks to this film, the heat accumulated during the day, mainly at ground level, will be released to the seeds or plants during the night, which activates germination, growth, flowering, and fruit ripening. Treated against UV rays for better resistance to sun and weather, it is reusable for several years.

Sowing and cultivation of frost-sensitive plants can be done in place very early in the spring (more or less early depending on the regions), as long as you have a high-performance forcing film. This very simple device allows you to harvest earlier in the season, but also over a longer period of time for vegetables such as leeks or lettuces. This cultivation method is suitable for sowing carrots, lettuce, radishes, as well as for creating strawberry beds. Attach this forcing film to hoops and install it sheltered from the wind and in full sun. Remember to water and ventilate from time to time, especially if the sun is generous.
