Duo of Night Sky and Royal Sky petunia collection
Refund made without hesitation. Can't even understand how one could deliver such a poorly cared-for young plant. It committed suicide in my garden. Sniff.

We offer you a fabulous duo composed of two absolutely unique varieties of petunias: 3 plug plants of 'Night Sky' and 2 plug plants of 'Royal Sky', to create a fantastic decoration on your terrace or balcony. Both of them have on their large corollas, a dark purple for Night Sky and a bright pink for Royal Sky, curious white spots of varying sizes, surrounded by a white halo, never seen before in terms of flower colours! These two varieties also have a beautiful vigor, remarkable in 'Night Sky', a truly superb semi-trailing habit in planters and hanging baskets, and a long-lasting flowering until the first frost.
Â
Petunia belongs to the solanaceae family; it is closely related to ornamental tobacco, for example, and its foliage also contains alkaloids. These annual, biennial or frost-tender perennial plants are mostly grown as annuals, and all originate from the warm regions of South America.
Petunia Night Sky and Royal Sky are part of a new series of hybrids, selected in Germany, that truly stand out from the crowd. The former was awarded the Gold Medal at Fleuroselect in 2016. Both form a vigorous, dense and semi-trailing clump, with long downy stems rising up to 20-30cm (8-12in) before cascading down to 1 meter (3 feet), or even more in the case of 'Night Sky', and 60cm (1 and 24in) in the case of 'Royal Sky'. The plants flower from May-June to October, provided they receive regular watering and fertilization. The cup-shaped flowers are large, about 7-8cm (3in) in diameter, with a deep blue-violet color for Night Sky, and a vibrant pink colour for Royal Sky. They are sprinkled with white spots of varying sizes, which become more intense when there are significant temperature differences between day and night. They bloom on dense foliage. The leaves, quite pubescent, are ovate and pointed, with entire edges and a dark green color, it is vigorous and healthy. These two varieties exhibit exceptional habit and require very little maintenance, simply remove faded flowers regularly.
Â
These sparkling Night Sky and Royal Sky varieties are truly horticultural feats in terms of color. Install them in large, design pots, or in hanging baskets. You can also associate them with other annual plants such as Lobelia, Sanvitalia, morning glories, Pelargonium peltatum, in color harmony or to create striking contrasts. Use their flowers to decorate a centerpiece, for example, place a bowl filled with the pink flowers of Royal Sky next to each place setting for girls, or the blue-violet flowers of Night Sky for boys; you will amaze your guests!
Â
Green plants measuring 4 to 8cm (2 to 3in) in 5 small plug plant trays, with a diameter of 2.8cm (1in) and a height of 4cm (2in). Our plants are at least eight weeks old and strong enough to be planted in the ground.
Individually labeled
Note: Attention, our young plug plants are professional products reserved for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them under cover (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame) at a temperature above 14C° for a few weeks before planting them outdoors once the risk of frost has definitively passed.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
