Rosa The Lady's Blush - English Shrub Rose

The English rose The Lady's Blush forms a beautiful shrub full of freshness and grace, offering semi-double open flowers, in a mix of pale pink and creamy white, surrounding a pale yellow heart marked with a small red ring at the base of the stamens. This variety is healthy and repeat-flowering, perfect in mixed borders, in association with annuals or perennials.

This rose is a descendant of Rosa alba and its flowers have kept the characteristics of softness and delicacy of this family with, in addition, repeat flowering from the beginning to the end of summer. On this fairly round bush, 1.25 m (4ft) high by 1 m (3ft) wide, appear clusters of pointed and elegant buds that open into numerous slightly scented semi-double flowers, of a beautiful size from 9 to 10 cm (4in) in diameter. The petals, pale pink in colour, dip towards the heart of the flower in a white-cream shade. The centre is adorned with a small red circle surrounding the base of the bright yellow stamens, bringing a very cheerful touch to the flower. Its rounded habit and disease resistance add to its irresistible charm.

The rose Lady's Blush unquestionably possesses great elegance. It allows for beautiful associations with annual or perennial plants, in a harmonious or contrasting mix, in a garden of modern and refined inspiration or with a wilder appearance. As companion plants, you can choose tall perennials (foxgloves, linarias, phlox, monkshoods) or groundcovering ones (mulleins, Cotoneaster dammeri), airy ones (gauras, gypsophila) or graphic ones (grasses), climbing plants (clematis, sweet peas) or trailing ones (purple morning glories, petunias) and thus create infinitely varied scenes and encourage biodiversity.
