The perfection made Flower: which proves that the simplicity of a flower can still enhance its beauty...and its fabulous warm & luminous hue is of the most beautiful effect wherever it is found...-A thousand thanks to Promesse de Fleurs for offering us such wonders & of such quality!" Analysis of the translated text: 1. "Fleur" is correctly translated as "Flower" throughout the text. 2. "Mille merci" is translated as "A thousand thanks," which is a common expression in English. 3. "Promesse de Fleurs" is translated as "Promesse de Fleurs," as it is a proper noun and should not be translated. 4. There are no spelling or grammatical errors in the translated text. 5. The tone of the original text is maintained in the translation. 6. The use of "&" instead of "and" in "chaleureuse & lumineuse" is appropriate in this context, as it mimics the style of the original text. 7. The use of "+" in "du +bel effet" is appropriate in this context, as it emphasizes the positive effect of the flower's hue. Overall, the translated text is correct and maintains the same tone as the original text.

Description

The English rose The Lady's Blush forms a beautiful shrub full of freshness and grace, offering semi-double open flowers, in a mix of pale pink and creamy white, surrounding a pale yellow heart marked with a small red ring at the base of the stamens. This variety is healthy and repeat-flowering, perfect in mixed borders, in association with annuals or perennials.

This rose is a descendant of Rosa alba and its flowers have kept the characteristics of softness and delicacy of this family with, in addition, repeat flowering from the beginning to the end of summer. On this fairly round bush, 1.25 m (4ft) high by 1 m (3ft) wide, appear clusters of pointed and elegant buds that open into numerous slightly scented semi-double flowers, of a beautiful size from 9 to 10 cm (4in) in diameter. The petals, pale pink in colour, dip towards the heart of the flower in a white-cream shade. The centre is adorned with a small red circle surrounding the base of the bright yellow stamens, bringing a very cheerful touch to the flower. Its rounded habit and disease resistance add to its irresistible charm.

The rose Lady's Blush unquestionably possesses great elegance. It allows for beautiful associations with annual or perennial plants, in a harmonious or contrasting mix, in a garden of modern and refined inspiration or with a wilder appearance. As companion plants, you can choose tall perennials (foxgloves, linarias, phlox, monkshoods) or groundcovering ones (mulleins, Cotoneaster dammeri), airy ones (gauras, gypsophila) or graphic ones (grasses), climbing plants (clematis, sweet peas) or trailing ones (purple morning glories, petunias) and thus create infinitely varied scenes and encourage biodiversity.

Bred by David Austin in 2011.

Planting and care

Plant your English Rose The Lady's Blush in a sunny or lightly shaded location. English roses are tolerant but do not like excessive limestone. They will adapt to any garden as long as the soil is well worked and rich enough.  To plant your rose, prepare the soil by crumbling it and adding an amendment, such as bonemeal, at the bottom of the planting hole. Water abundantly after planting to remove air pockets. Water regularly for a few weeks to encourage root growth. Pruning English roses is essential for flowering. At the end of winter, shorten the branches to 3-5 buds above the ground (at the lowest level), choosing an outward-facing bud for a more elegant habit. Take advantage of this pruning to remove dead wood and unsightly branches. Pruning is done at an angle above a bud. As the flowers bloom, remove faded flowers to stimulate the development of other buds.

Roses are often spotted or unsightly in late summer, but it is not a problem for their development. These spots are not harmful to the rose; it is a natural phenomenon.
